question on charger...

I want to charge the feda battery 8.4v 600mah,
but my "fast charge" I using output(1.2AH 8.4V),after 1/2 hrs, it got hot!!!
can I charge with "7.2v, 1.2AH"  ? is it possible ?
also, I have another quesion, if I charge 2 battery with only 1 charger,
is it mean that the current (A) will reduce by half ?
(e.g if charger is 1.2AH, then the current give to the 2 battery each
is 1.2/2=6 ) ?   is it ? or the voltage will also change ?

充电电压要高于电池电压为好
变成发烫是正常现象，用1.2A冲600mAh的电池我也经常这么做，但最好还是用小电流对电池有益。
两块电池并在一起，容量就会加倍，比如：两个8.4V/600mAh电池组并联，就是8.4V/1.2Ah。若这时用1.2Ah输出的充电器进行充电，则需要1小时以上，而以前只需要半个小时。这样做有一个坏处，就是每颗电池的电量会变得越来越不均匀。其实最佳的冲电方法是对电池单体进行充放电，而非对电池组。组数越多，充电均匀度越多。

小电流，长时间充电肯定是最好的。镍镉电池使用一段时间后，若发现容量不足，必须进行一次完全的放电。
