2. Driver installation process
2.1 Touch panel controller connection
Connect touch panel to the USB port. "USB Human Interface Device" and
"HID-compliant device" are installed automatically. When it wasn't installed
automatically. Install "USB Human Interface Device" and "HID-compliant device".
Then, install touch panel driver.
2.2 When you install the driver with an installer
(1) Insert this Touch Panel driver disk.
(2) Run the "SetupZM.exe" file.
(3) The message of the User Account Control is displayed.
"Allow" is selected and the installation is continued.
(4) Click "Yes" button.
(5) Click "OK" button at Installation complete dialog box.
2.3 When you install the driver by the silent mode with an installer
(1) Insert this Touch Panel driver disk.
(2) When SetupZM.exe is executed putting /s option, it is possible to install
it by the silent mode. In this case, the confirmation message etc. of
the installation is not displayed.
Ex) SetupZM.exe /s
(3) The message of the User Account Control is displayed.
"Allow" is selected and the installation is continued.
Attention:
* Please select "Install this driver software anyway" and continue installing
when the Windows Security dialog is displayed.
* When User Account Control is effective, the message of User Account
Control is displayed.
* Install with a user of the Administrator authority.
* Please do not install it in the two or more user log in.
* In the silent mode, the message of User Account Control and the message of the
Windows Security are displayed.
* When a connection port is changed, you must install a driver again.
3. Positional calibration method of touch panel
The calibration tool only for this driver is used for a positional calibration.
When the parallax is calibration to each user, the calibration application of
Microsoft installed in Windows 7 is used.
3.1 Use of calibration tool only for driver
(1) Open "Control Panel" of the system.
(2) Double click "Tablet Calibration" icon.
(3) The message of the User Account Control is displayed.
"Continue" is selected and the calibration is continued.
(4) The displayed "+" mark is pressed.
(5) All "+" marks are pressed by nine points.
(6) The normal termination of the correction message is displayed.
Attention:
* Reset data on Positional calibration by hand when you use a calibration tool
only for the driver. Reset data on Positional calibration with each user.
[Control Panel]-[Tablet PC Settings]-[Reset] Button.
* In the calibration tool only for the driver, the Linearity calibration of the
touch panel is done.
* When User Account Control is effective, the Administrator authority is necessary
for the correction tool only for the driver.
* Please do not calibration it in the two or more user log in.
* When User Account Control is effective, the message of User Account Control
is displayed.
* "Screen orientation is acquired automatically." may not be able to do it by the
video card being used.
3.2 Each user's parallax correction method
(1) Open "Control Panel" of the system.
(2) Double click "Tablet PC Settings" icon.
(3) The "Calibrate..." button of "General" is clicked. The calibration tool opens.
(4) "+" mark is done and tap is done.
(5) Click "OK" button.
4. Driver uninstall process
4.1 When uninstalling it from the control panel
(1) Open "Control Panel" of the system.
(2) Double click "Programs and Features" icon.
(3) Select "FCL Zoom USB Pen Tablet" tag.
(4) Click "Uninstall/Change" button.
(5) The message of the User Account Control is displayed.
"Continue" is selected and the uninstallation is continued.
(6) Click "OK" button at delete confirmation dialog box.
(7) Click "Yes" button at restart confirmation dialog box.
(8) Restart the system.
4.2 When you uninstall the driver by the silent mode
(1) When FidUinst.exe is executed putting /s option, it is possible to uninstall
it by the silent mode. In this case, the confirmation message etc. of
the uninstallation is not displayed.
Ex) C:\Windows\System32\UinstZM.exe /s
(2) The message of the User Account Control is displayed.
"Allow" is selected and the uninstallation is continued.
(3) Click "Yes" button at restart confirmation dialog box.
(4) Restart the system.
Attention:
* When User Account Control is effective, the message of User Account Control
is displayed.
* Uninstall with a user of the Administrator authority.
* Please do not uninstall it in the two or more user log in.
* In the silent mode, the message of User Account Control and the message of the
restart confirmation are displayed.
